Completely New Look!

I just finished the last main update. I trashed the previous theme and went with something completely different. I think it looks much, much more appealing and professional (but that’s just me haha).
Please look around the site and see all of the changes. There are still more minor changes to come… But you probably won’t notice those.
Now that I’ve moved back into a college dorm (Sophomore year is about to begin!) I will begin recording some videos to upload onto my YouTube channel. You can subscribe to it if you’d like, I definitely encourage it! Some of my blog posts will be in vlog form and eventually I hope to record some satire.

Overall it looks pretty good. I like the white space, it’s easier on the eyes and less busy than before. You should add a mouse-over css style on your hyperlinks with an underline so people instinctively know when text is a link.
Good idea! I’ll get on that now, just need to fix the feature image slider.

FWIW, I do more favor themes with “last post” and “next post” links. They help when you haven’t visited in a while and want to catch up. The Post Index helps a lot, though!

Looks good. I agree with others regarding the lighter, whiter format. It may just be me, but black backgrounds seem to have a sinister aire about them. Also, I like the graphic. Where did you get it? Are you using some sort of predefined format from a service?
I tend to feel the same way about black backgrounds. It isn’t long before dark backgrounds like my previous one begin to feel the same way for me.
I switched my blog over to WordPress.org and I believe this theme is only available for self-hosted blogs. I may be wrong, though. There are a lot more options for a self-hosted WordPress account (in terms of customization).

I’m looking for the archive and top post widgets. They give easy access to your other posts. Generally though you have a great blog page. It’s white background and clean layout give it the professional look and a touch of sophistication that sit well with your writing ability and critical thinking power.
You’re not the only one who has asked for those widgets so they will probably be implemented shortly.

Hiya, new theme works well for your blog. I like the rolling picture header. Generally speaking, I like white for reading (so thumbs up on that one), but I’m quite fond of black (my site!) for images (to make the image standout more). I also recommend you set up your own gravatar for your replies on your blog (either a photo or image to represent your site).(Or have you now got one, b/c on my site I get a photo, not a graphic). Also like how you start each post with a picture. Makes it more inviting. Anyway, taken up enough pixels…..Marti
